“The Stick Queen Has No Fear of Being Liked”

Once Again, this illustration is an exaggerated perception of what it must hav e been like at the Queen’s office.  I was told that she received a great deal of attention from men at her office. One day a younger colleague, clearly out of his league in pursuing superior royalty asked, “Has anybody told you have beautiful eyes?”  She replied, “Only those who are trying to get me in bed.”  The young man shrunk and scampered away.
